Five Years Ago . . .

Five years ago Tim and I were married. In the midst of glowing candles and the smiles of friends and family, we made a vow to each other that we would become one until death parted us. We had been cautioned that marriage would not be easy, but as newly weds we were excited about the journey.

Today we celebrate five years of marriage. As all couples, we have had our fair share of disagreements and difficult times, but all in all it has been wonderful. I can truly say that I love my husband more today than I did on that June night five years ago. I love watching him play with our daughter. I love that she is a "daddy's girl." I love the fact that all he has to do is walk into a room and her face lights up.

Tim, thank you so much for your patience with me and my crazy pregnancy hormones. Thank you for how hard you work to provide for our family. Thank you for being someone I can always trust. I love you completely, and I cannot wait to see what the next 5 years bring!
